This is one bubbly machine elf
Hi! Do salvias grow in south east asia?just bought seeds…
I love the salvia family
What are the late season kinds? (z7b)? Salvia looks similar to lavender, with lower maintenance and longer life. 🤔
First I want to thank you for all your great videos. They are very informative. Especially for the newbie gardener. My question I have is if there is any difference between the Color Spires line and the Profusion Line for the Salvia?
Can this be eaten?
Grow it, pick it, extract it, smoke it
Which type to use under a shaded tree in south fl?
Salvia is always a success and they spread so they can be divided. I divided a salvia last year and intend to divide it some more this year!
My experience, plant in private areas and not in public access, so the public does not get bitten by bees/wasps, etc. Like to hide the plants in the background, away from public ….

I just planted some near an azalea. Beautiful!
You got new chicks!
You give good ideas for beautiful plants and how to arrange them but your shows are really for people who can afford to buy plants from your parents nursery. I’m growing plants from seed or I’m getting bulbs you have no advice on this
Great video. I have a few salvia, but now I want more.
What is the full size growth of this type of Salvia?
Slugs. Watch out for milky slugs. They love salvia. Powdery mildew. Avoid overhead watering unless you have Impeccable air flow to dry the foliage out. Most years my salvia will put out a spectacular show of electric blue flowers all summer. Other years it's a wet cold spring and a struggle to pick out and bait for slugs early on. And once the powdery mildew gets a toe hold- you'll never get it out and have a nice bloom show so you might as well cut them to the ground and hope for next year. That usually works.
You have such a beautiful garden!
I planted 3 salvia last year, loved them but only one came back. 🙁 Where did i go wrong? It was a mild winter…
I am surprised Laura is planting salvia in shade. I assume it gets its share of sun.
I wonder if there is one that tends to “ shed” less?
Was that a lion that passed 😄

I love Salvias, but caterpillars attack some of my Salvias. I think it is moth caterpillars. I use a mixture of Neem oil, liquid Castile Soap and water to try to combat the caterpillars. .
Thank you
Gorgeous..i love love the light color salvia…thank you for such beautiful video n instructions..i watched yr video daily🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰
Salvia that I have are flopping over in the center. They are never erect so the color shows. The blooms rest close to the ground. Please help!
Please can you do a video on how to deadhead & prune the different kinds of salvias 🙂
I am loving my salvia SO much, it just doesn't stop flowering for months on end …look how little those chickens are back then …too cute 🐥🐥
I have dug 2 new flower beds and I have a 3-tiered garden as well and I put Salvia in all of those spots including many other new plants I've learned about from you two and some that I have loved for many years! It is looking so beautiful!! I'm using Espoma products, too. 🙂 Thank you for all the information you share with us! I've gardened for years in the past but I'm just starting all over again.
Your place looks like Bush gardens
Everything is zone 3-8 😢 I'm in zone 9b and keep falling in love with things that I can't grow.
Just moved into a new house with no garden. Can I plant these Salvia in July in Houston ?
is it common to also use these for tea?
Think I have the indigo girl, I've had these for 3 years. This year they just don't flower right. It's like I have flowering stems that go in a circle but in the middle it's just stems that look dead, like a hole in the middle. I have three plants and two are doing this. They get alot of sun and I water when needed faithfully. Not sure why it's looking like this. Janice
Very good.
You covered an important point as to drought tolerant. Saying moisture level should be adequate. Also trimming in spring. It would be nice to say what and how protect in winter say 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
Which one vets u high
I’m so excited to add these to my garden! What size were your containers—1 gallon? I can’t find these anywhere except the PW website for $18 for a quart. Is ideal planting time in spring? Maybe that’s why?
